Jeff Gschwind was born and raised on Long Island. A graduate of the University of Vermont Business School with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Upon graduation, after spending many a cold winter in Vermont, Jeff moved to the warmer temperatures of Florida, where he met National PGA Teacher of the Year Michael Hebron. Michael Hired Jeff and brought him back to New York to be his personal assistant. Jeff studied the golf swing and trained under Michael for 10 years at both his New York and Florida golf academies.
In 2001, Jeff had the great fortune to be hired by Darrell Kestner to be his first assistant at Deepdale Golf Club. A dream job at a dream facility, Jeff is currently in his twelfth season at Deepdale, having been elevated by Darrell to the position of Head Professional.
Jeff was ranked in 2010 as the 5th Best Teacher in New York by Golf Digest and was name to Golf Digest’s list of “Top 20 Teachers Under 40” in the United States. He is currently the only Authorized Stack & Tilt instructor in New York and is a highly trained user of Trackman.
Jeff’s career has been influenced by many great professionals: Michael Hebron, Darrell Kestner, Mike Bender, Cindy Mueller, Mac O’Grady, Andy Plummer, Michael Bennett and Margie Kestner.
Jeff enjoys working with students of all levels from beginners to club champions to LPGA and PGA Tour players.
Eric graduated with honors from Ferris State University in 2007 with a degree in Professional Golf Management. Upon graduation he began working for Darrell Kestner at Deepdale Golf Club. During the winter season Eric works at the Jim McLean Golf School in Miami Florida. He is a 2010 Re/Max World Long Drive Championship Regional Finalist and a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Professional.
Dylan was born in New Zealand and moved to England in 1995. Educated through the English system he graduated from Buckinghamshire University in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After playing Collegiate Golf at the highest level he soon moved to Florida where he worked as an Assistant Professional at Frenchman’s Creek Country Club. Dylan has been under the great mentorship of Darrell Kestner for the past three seasons and spends the winter months working at the Jim McLean Golf School in La Quinta, California.
Born in Fargo North Dakota, Joe attended University of West Florida where he was a two-time NCAA DII All-American and member of the 2001 NCAA DII National Championship team. After college, he played various mini-tours prior to working for Rick Vershure at Quaker Ridge in 2008. In 2009, during the Travelers Championship Qualifier Joe set a course record 65 at Bulls Bridge Golf Club. In 2010, Joe competed in his first PGA Tour Q-School. In 2011, he participated in the PGA Professional National Championship and the National Assistant’s Championship. In the spring of 2012, Joe joined Darrell Kestner at Deepdale Golf Club.
